DARRIN HOOD
Founder / Talent Manager / Director of Business Operations
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Darrin Hood first developed the idea for Behind the 8 Ball while coaching high school football. During that time, he became increasingly drawn to helping athletes prepare for life beyond the game and supporting their long-term success off the field. Hood attended Georgia State University.
Through his work with professional and collegiate athletes, Darrin has helped shape BT8 into a management company built on trust, access, and real execution. His ability to connect with athletes, understand their needs, and manage the moving pieces around them remains a key part of BT8’s approach.
JEREMY DAWSON
Co-Founder / Talent Manager / Director of Client Strategy
Jeremy Dawson is a Rhode Island native & the co-founder of BT8 Management. He helps lead the company’s client strategy, contract support, and athlete management efforts. He holds a Masters Degree from USC Gould School of Law, with a focus on contract & entertainment law.
Prior BT8, Jeremy worked in Film & Television and talent representation, including experience with The NFL Network, APA, and Skybound Entertainment. His background in contracts, media, and entertainment strategy helps BT8 support athletes through the personal, professional, and business decisions that come with life beyond the game.
